The room was updated and clean, boasting a spacious feel and a lovely sea view. It felt sparse, with minimal furnishings-a single dining chair and no armchair. I even had to request towels upon arrival. The restaurant and bar staff were friendly, making our time enjoyable despite the hotel's shortcomings. Breakfast choices were decent, and the location was great for those heading to Crail Raceway. While Balcomie Links is a stunning property with potential, it currently carries luxury pricing but misses the mark on practicality. If the management addresses these issues, it could become a solid option for anyone looking to explore this lovely area. As a Canadian traveler, I'd suggest considering both comfort and cost here.
